THIS year's Scottish Parliament Elections are the most fiercely fought since the Scottish Parliament held its first meeting on May 12th, 1999.

This year, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth is proving to be an open goal for all the candidates involved.

With national polls showing massive support for the Scottish National Party in both regional and constituency votes it’s no wonder that the Scottish Labour Party have re-launched their campaign.

The national polls suggest that Cathie Craigie could be displaced as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, a job she has held since the Scottish Parliament was reconvened in 1999.
