THE most recent leaflet to drop through the letterbox of Cumbernauld citizens is not a political one but is a clothing collection leaflet, from the so called "Second- hand Limited."

The leaflet, which is believed to be circulated all over Cumbernauld, aims at informing people of the company's aims and desires.

However, be cautious.

The company is marked as "dissolved" on the Companies House website, a company which provides information on companies, to help ensure public protection.

"Dissolved" means that the company can no longer trade under its name of "Second Hand Ltd." A search of the registration number, on the leaflet returned no results and as a result we could expect this company to be illegally trading.

In the leaflet the company, known as "Second- hand Ltd", ask for your old clothes, which is then distributed to the poor areas of Eastern Europe, or so it says.

The company seemed to have appeared from nowhere and seemingly has coverage and collection all over the United Kingdom; information that would make anybody weary.
