Dust down those dancing shoes for Lanarkshire 2011

WITH two months until Lanarkshire hosts the International Children's Games organisers are pulling together the final arrangements for the opening ceremony.
So far the organisers of the event have kept their cards close to their chest, and have only said that the opening ceremony will include a tasteful and entertaining blend of street and highland dance.

The opening ceremony will take place at Motherwell's Fir Park Stadium, on Thursday 4th August and organisers are holding open auditions for dancers, to participant in the historic event.
Auditionees must be over fourteen years old and available to attend the opening ceremony and four rehearsal dates between Saturday 30th July and Thursday 2nd August, as well as the dress rehearsal on Wednesday 3rd August.
The auditions will take place between noon and 3pm, at Motherwell College's dance studio, on Saturday 11th June.
