Hailing the work of the group and congratulating them on their Anniversary, Doctor Helen Alexander, Manager of the Diabetes Managed Clinical Network in Lanarkshire, said: “Over the past year the Cumbernauld Diabetes Support Group has gone from strength to strength.
“The group offers people living with diabetes, their families and carers, a chance to meet and share experiences with other people who are in a similar situation.
“The monthly meetings, which are run by volunteers, give members a chance to share views, seek advice and attend talks by health professionals on a range of topics.
“I would like to congratulate the group on their first anniversary and hope they continue to provide their excellent support for many more years to come.”
