THE Muirhead Roundabout, which links North Carbrain, Seafar and Kildrum, with the A8011 was closed two days ago and will be re-opened later on this month.
The slip on and off, to the A8011, have been closed so that contractors are able to reconstruct the footbridge, which was damaged last year.
Both slip roads were closed last Monday and will re-open on Sunday 31st July, diversions are and will continue to be in place throughout the ongoing repairs, and those diversion arrangements are stated below.

Vehicles wishing to travel onto the A8011 should continue on the Muirhead roundabout, taking the slip road onto the A8011 Central Way, south bound, onto the Town Centre East roundabout, then vehicles should continue around the roundabout onto A8011 Central Way north bound and continue north, where diversion ends.
Vehicles wishing to travel onto the Muirhead Roundabout, and leave the A8011 should continue onto the Town Centre East roundabout going around the roundabout onto the A8011 Central Way, north bound then onto A8011 slip road to Muirhead roundabout, where the diversion ends.
