NHS Lanarkshire invite patients to Chest Club

PEOPLE in Lanarkshire who are sufferers of Respiratory Disease are being invited to attend NHS Lanarkshire's Patient Chest Club.
 
The event, which will take place at noon on Tuesday 23rd August, in St Margaret's Church Hall, Airdrie is being held by the British Lung Foundation’s Monklands Breath East Club, to provide information and advice.
 
Commenting, NHS Lanarkshire’s respiratory network manager, Maureen Carroll said:
 
“The Patient Chest Club is an info rmal info rmation event, where people suffering from respiratory disease, along with the families and/or carers, have the chance learn what’s new in respiratory and find out what help and info rmation is available for them locally."

Throughout the day a wide range of information and advice will be available at the exhibition’s stands hosted by a variety of organisations.
 
Continuing, Maureen said: “The programme includes presentations on, breathlessness, oral health education, an overview of less common respiratory conditions, as well as an armchair yoga demonstration.
 
“Attendees will also have an opportunity to pose their health questions to an expert panel during the question and answer session.”
