A ROLLING convoy of caravans has set up camp in Cumbernauld.
They were first spotted on Thursday 28th July and their arrival proves to be worrying for some residents of Cumbernauld.
Settling on the private grass field, adjacent to Lenziemill Road, at Greenfaulds Railway Station, the travellers are now a yearly addition to Cumbernauld.

However, some residents are outraged at their arrival, with complaints that last year's travellers saw the destruction of trees and land.
A North Lanarkshire Council spokesperson told Cumbernauld Media: “North Lanarkshire Council and Strathclyde Police have visited the site and are aware of the situation, which will continue to be monitored.”
