CUMBERNAULD Old Parish Church has welcomed in 2013 with newly presented posters depicting religious stories.

The posters, which were decorated by pupils at Eastfield Primary School, were given the Cumbernauld Village Parish ahead of the New Year.

“During the past few weeks the church building of Cumbernauld Old has been decorated by posters made by the children of Eastfield Primary School,” a Parish spokesperson confirmed.

The posters, which include one poster captioned “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” are now display at the Baronhill located Parish as well as Balloch’s Forge Community Centre.

“Other posters were displayed at the Forge Centre in Balloch while the church was meeting,” the spokesperson added.

The posters have been published on the Parish’s website, and one fan of the posters commended the work, commenting on the posters via the Parish’s blog.

“Beautiful work, well done,” the comment read.
