CUMBERNAULD’S Clyde Football Club have invited the town’s youngsters to come cheer on the Bully Wee for free at the team’s match this Saturday.

This Saturday (12th January) Clyde will take on Stirling Albion in the IRN-BRU Third Division and the team’s under-16 fans can get in for free.

Clyde director, Bobby Gracey said: “Development of a future fan base needs to become an important activity for Clyde FC going forward. I hope that all of the youngsters attending the game have a fantastic time at Broadwood and feel part of the wider Bully Wee family. Ideally, they will leave the stadium already looking forward to attending further matches before the end of the season.”

The young fans simply have to head down to the team’s stadium for the 3pm kick-off, although there has to be a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children, aged 1-5 and a ratio of 1 adult to 12 children aged 6 to 12. 13 to 16 year  olds are permitted to be unsupervised.

Free entry will be granted via the turnstiles at the Main Stand, where both sets of supporters will be located. Adult admission is £12, with senior citizens and students priced at £6.

"The club has also issued formal invites to our Youth Academy players, Community teams, Cumbernauld Colts and various Cumbernauld schools,” the club’s Director added.

"On a personal level, I would like to say a special thanks to Graeme Atkinson of North Lanarkshire Leisure and Derek Inglis, for their support in making this day become a reality."
