CUMBERNAULD Media has spotted a few pictures related to Cumbernauld online which, we felt, simply had to be shared.

The first one was uploaded by music superstar, Cheryl Cole.

Cheryl Cole, who is in Glasgow as part of the latest Girls Aloud tour, took to Twitter to tell her fans what her hotel room’s mini fridge contained.

Taking to her Twitter account (@CherylCole) at 7.27pm, this evening, the diva tweeted: “You know you're in Glasgow when the first thing you see in your mini bar is this....”

Upon clicking the Twitter picture link fans were greeted with a picture of a can of Scotland’s very own orange drink – IRN BRU, brewed right here, in Cumbernauld.

Secondly, we spotted an image which ponders the academic progress of certain Tesco stores staff.

Taken from the Twitter of ‘SidneyKidney’ (@SidneyKidney), the picture was taken outside Cumbernauld’s Tesco Extra, this afternoon, and shows a number of trollies packed together. Now, what’s wrong with this you may be asking? Well, nothing; just as long as the trollies don’t block the road – correct?

Uh-oh! Someone at Tesco Cumbernauld should really go to Cumbernauld College – it’s only three minutes away from where this picture was snapped. Picture is copyright of ‘SidneyKidney’, embedded via Twitter (@SidneyKidney).

Don’t worry though, folks. The picture’s owner quickly tweeted @UKTesco, and notified them. Staff at the store corrected the situation, although Cumbernauld Media couldn’t get a response from Tesco about their trolley safety strategy and what people should do in a similar trolley emergency.
