Greenfaulds high prepares to be centre-stage for youth service event

ONE Cumbernauld high school will play host to a local church youth event, later this evening.

The town’s Greenfaulds High School will play host to the Church of Scotland’s Ignite Youth Service, tonight, with the school’s theatre being centre stage.

A spokesperson for the Cumbernauld Church of Scotland group said that the event is a “monthly united church” event, aiming to inspire a “passion for Jesus” for local young people.

The spokesperson told Cumbernauld Media: “Ignite Youth Service is a monthly united church event for young people from Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and the surrounding area.”

This evening’s show is called ‘Resurrected’.

“The aim is to see young people ignited with a passion for Jesus with the goal of affecting our area with the gospel,” the spokesperson added.

Today’s event will kick off at Greenfaulds High School theatre at 7pm.
