Cumbernauld Gala's organisers invite bookings for stalls

CUMBERNAULD businesses, charities or club are now able to get their stall booked for the 2013 Cumbernauld Gala Day, it has been announced. 

Groups were invited to get their booking forms in as soon as possible; after the event’s organisers announced booking forms were available from Sunday (May, 5th).

Appealing to potential stallholders, via the group’s Facebook, a Gala Day organising committee spokesperson said: “Cumbernauld Community Forum would now like to ask anyone who would like a stall at this year's Cumbernauld Gala Day, on Saturday 13th July, to submit their booking request. Stalls cost £10 for community groups and £20 for businesses. Forms are available to download on the new Cumbernauld Community Forum website at www.cumbernauldcommunityforum.co.uk.”

This year’s town Gala Day will be held between at the town’s New Town Hall on Saturday 13th July, and will be the fourth Gala Day since the event was revived by the Cumbernauld Community Forum. 

On Monday the Gala Day Organising committee noted that planning was “moving along nicely” but that “some slight changes” were made to the booking form. 

A spokesperson wrote on the Gala Day’s Facebook page: “The Gala Day organising committee had a meeting tonight and things are moving along nicely in our planning for the big day. We have agreed some slight changes to the booking form and this is now online at www.cumbernauldcommunityforum.co.uk. There is no need for anyone who has filled in the previous version of the booking form to complete the new version.”
