THE Cumbernauld Colts Community Football Club have invited local children to get involved with the club, this summer, in a drive that will hopefully encourage Cumbernauld youngsters to take up football, maintain a healthy lifestyle, make friends and have something fulfilling to spend their time doing over the summer holidays.

Primary and secondary schools across North Lanarkshire will break up for summer on Thursday, June 27th, 2013 and will return on Friday, August 16th, 2013.

To help encourage Cumbernauld youngsters towards a healthy lifestyle, as well as seeking to teach local kids about football, and perhaps seek out potential future football talent, the Cumbernauld Colts have unveiled the arrangements for their 2013 ‘Summer Soccer School’.

“We are running a Summer Soccer School programme in conjunction with stadium partners, North Lanarkshire Leisure,” a Cumbernauld Colts spokesperson told Cumbernauld Media.
