THE Messy Church is once again returning to Cumbernauld, this weekend.

The Cumbernauld association of Church of Scotland parishes have announced that the two-session, which allows children and their families to enjoy a number of activities, including arts, crafts and reading, will return this Sunday.

Held at the Forge Community Centre, the Messy Church starts at 4pm, this Sunday (June 30th), with the time being a “couple of hours of fun and mess”, according to the Cumbernauld association of the Church of Scotland has said.

“The Points North team of Condorrat and Cumbernauld Old Parish Churches present their next Messy Church this coming Sunday 30th June. Messy Church takes place at the Forge Community Centre, Balloch and starts at 4pm,” a Church of Scotland, Cumbernauld association told Cumbernauld Media.

“Messy Church is described as "a couple of hours of fun and mess" and is a time for people of all ages to come together and enjoy crafts and games, hear stories from the Bible and share in a time of celebration, followed by dinner. What better way to start the summer holidays?”

Messy Church launched in November 2012 and attendees enjoy a number of activities, including arts, crafts, reading and good food.
