The Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Ramblers have unveiled their latest walking programme, which schedules the group’s walks until later this year.

Launching the schedule online, a group spokesperson said that the: “…programme lists our Group's walks through to the end of October 2012.”

The earliest walks are planned for tomorrow (Tuesday), which will be an ‘Abronhill North Circular,’ which will pass through Glenhead and Kilt fam. Then, on Wednesday, the Ramblers will take on a grade b route, walking fourteen kilometres, and trekking uphill, up 390 metres.

The group’s spokesperson added: “Travel to the start of the Tuesday walks is usually by public transport (these are generally local), travel on Wednesdays is usually by private car (walkers are expected to share the cost), while travel on the Sunday walks will use a hired coach (cost £10).

More information on the events can be sought through the group’s website.
