ABRONHILL’S St. Lucy’s Chapel will host a family fun day later this week, with a number of different activities set to be on offer for attendees to indulge in.

The chapel will host what it has dubbed a ‘youth zone fun day’ this Saturday (27th June), with a plethora of activities arranged for the day.

Kicking off at 11am and running until around 3pm, the event will be hosted inside and out of the chapel, in Hornbeam Road, this Saturday (27th June).

Organisers say that there “will be all the usual fun stuff to see and do”, according to one of the event’s organisers.

The day will see a host of stalls put up, with a barbeque available, alongside a café selling teas, coffees, juice, sweets, and cakes, with the added bonus of a chocolate fountain.

The day’s planners are hoping the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will be able to make it along, though even if they don’t there will be a whole raft of other things to see and do, including a bouncy castle, live DJ, and face painting.

Organisers say that the list of things that will be available on Saturday is “growing each day”, ahead of the event, this weekend.

The fun day is expected to raise money for future kids-related projects in and around Abronhill.
