Car accident closes part of Seafar Road

PART of Cumbernauld’s bustling Seafar Road is closed off today (19th September) following a car accident, this afternoon.

Officers from Cumbernauld police station remain on the scene at the time of publication, after a silver car appears to have overturned across from Allanfauld Road, coming to rest in the middle of the road. 

The incident across from the Allanfauld Road access junction is said to have happened at around 12.30pm, this afternoon, according to local residents.

At the time of going to publication, a silver car remains on its roof in the middle of the road, which police officers have closed off. 

It is not yet know whether anybody has been injured, though this story will be updated to confirm this final details once we get them.
