Man assaulted outside Cumbernauld nightclub

POLICE are appealing for anybody with any information to come forward after a young man was seriously attacked in Cumbernauld, on Sunday morning.

Officers from Cumbernauld Police Station have issued any appeal for information and witnesses after a 21-year-old man was attacked near Cumbernauld’s Basement nightclub last weekend.

An appeal for information and witnesses has since been launched, after the young man was “seriously assaulted” in the early hours of Sunday (1 February) morning, in the car park across from the nightclub.

In announcing an appeal on Twitter, a spokesperson for Cumbernauld Police posted: “Appeal: 21 year old male seriously assaulted in the early hours of 01/02 in car park area near to Basement & Red Triangle. Any info 101”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Cumbernauld Police Station on 101.
